“The Gospels are about the historical Jesus. Paul, however, never talks about that Jesus. He talks about the Christ. Jesus is the microcosm; Christ is the macrocosm. There is a movement between the two that we have to imitate in our life and work, the resurrection journey.” — Richard Rohr
Come with an open mind and spirit to see and hear Jesus Christ with new eyes and ears. Participants will explore and pray with the Christian Scriptures, gleaning evidence that the Jesus who was incarnated into human life 2000 years ago came to teach us through his life (words and actions) what God is like.
We will then become acquainted with the Cosmic Christ, who exists from the beginning of the universe and is guiding us to live in a coherent universe where there is no division between the natural and supernatural, and God is available to and present within all creation. May we grow together in greater consciousness of who we are and what we’re here for as spiritual/human beings.
