The Jewish Torah makes plain what is required of us with the two greatest commandments: first, “love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.” (Deuteronomy), and second, “You must love your neighbor as yourself.” (Leviticus).
In this day of prayer and meditations in the outdoors of creation, walking the grounds of Mariandale, we learn how to release the impediments that inhibit our connection with Yahweh, and practice the virtues that join us with the Supreme Being and our collective embodiment of the son of God. Each participant receives a meditation booklet containing both the reflections of this day and their Bible references.
