Join us as we continue to explore our spiritual paths, stressing the many areas of collaboration and understanding through dialogue. This semi-annual series explores the many similarities between these two traditions. We will review many of the teachings of Jesus and the Buddha and discuss the way of the Saint and the way of the Bodhisattva. This session dialogue we will be using a book entitled “The Emptied Christ of Philippians, Mahayana Meditations” by John Keenan.

About the Presenter:
Fernando Camacho, MD is an ordained lay Buddhist priest of the Dharma Teacher Order, a Western group of Vietnamese Zen lineage committed to developing ecumenical bridges and relationships across all religious traditions. Fernando is a practicing medical oncologist in the Bronx and is the Director of the Community Oncology Program of the Montefiore Einstein Center for Cancer Care.
