We’re proud to be TreeHuggers!
Join us on Sunday, September 22, at 4:30pm for the second annual TreeHuggers Ball: a fundraiser to benefit the Center at Mariandale, and to ensure that our retreats, services, and programs are accessible and inclusive.
We are delighted to have Kacey Morabito Grean of WHUD and Shine On as our Master of Ceremonies!
(See the photos from last year’s inaugural TreeHuggers Ball in the gallery, below).
We’ll hold this high-spirited fundraiser outside in our lovely courtyard with Hudson River views. You will also enjoy:
~ Live music
~ Seasonal foods and local wine, beer, and ciders
~ A welcome to the first day of Autumn
~ New arts and crafts items for sale
~ Gift baskets of every theme for our raffles
~ A “BeeLovers” table with Mariandale honey
~ Tree-themed surprises
At 6:50pm, as the sun sets, we will start the Candlelight Labyrinth Walk (don’t miss this; it is a beautiful experience!) Or, you can gather with friends on the land and watch the sun set over the Hudson River.
We will also honor three volunteers with “Spirit of Mariandale” awards. They inspire us, and we think they will inspire you, too.
Amy and Anthony Sucich
Date & Time: Sun., Sept. 22, from 4:30 to 7pm
Ticket Price: $55 per person (includes food and bar)

A gentle healing circle for women to help them bring past trauma out of the shadows and into the light.
This is a healing circle for women: a reflection and discussion session, developed to help women raise the memories of physical or sexual assault to the light.
Our goal is not to bury or burn those memories, but to raise them to the light to help, share support, and pave the way to healing.
Kacey Morabito Grean will lead a discussion and reflection session with women who have experienced physical or sexual assault. It will be geared toward helping women reclaim the lost parts of ourselves, and bring into the light the darkness seldom shared.
You do not have to share your story unless you wish to. Just come and let the light in, so that healing can begin through prayer, poetry, meditation, and music.
Day and Time: Sunday, February 17, 2018, from 1pm to 3pm
Presenter: Kacey Morabito Grean
Disclaimer: This is a discussion and reflection group, only. It does not replace therapy, counseling, or medical treatment for those suffering recent trauma.REGISTER NOW
